Lisa Powers


Lisa Powers has been a MWBWG member since 2010. After completing her bachelor's in Biology and Anthropology at Loyola University Chicago and her master's at University of Wisconsin-Madison, she completed her Ph.D. dissertation on the impacts of white-nose syndrome on reproduction and survival at the University of Illinois in 2016. She is currently a postdoctoral researcher at Bucknell University studying the immunological response of bats to viruses. Lisa has worked on the establishment of MWBWG as a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization, and has served on the annual meeting and code of conduct committees.
