Over a 25-year career, Bree McMurray has given her time and talents to the conservation and protection of
non-game and protected species both in the natural resources and transportation fields. Bree has been an Endangered Species Specialist in state government transportation agencies for 21 years, most of that in the state of Missouri. She is the senior ecologist
in charge of training and workshops for several transportation, engineering, and environmental professionals. Bree conducts environmental assessments for protected species for MO Dept of Transportation and works on special projects. She is also a volunteer
in the cave gating community, protecting sites for use by bats and other cave fauna, as well as several other civic and school organizations. Bree maintains a strong working relationship with and fully supports networking efforts across volunteer, academic,
private, public, non-profit, and regulatory groups. She previously served on the Board for MWBWG and the Southeastern Bat Diversity Network and was a member of the host committee for the 2022 MWBWG meeting in Missouri. Bree is delighted to serve on the MWBWG
Board once again.
