Megan Martin is a scientist for the consulting company Environmental Solutions & Innovations, Inc (ESI). She holds a B.A. in Biology from Ball State University and an M.S. in Biology from Indiana State University. As an environmental consultant, she does field surveys and writes regulatory documents for private companies as well as state and federal governments. Her field work includes presence/absence summer surveys, habitat surveys, and cave/portal surveys for the Indiana bat and northern long-eared bat. She is a member of Midwest Bat Working Group, North American Society for Bat Research, and the Wildlife Society. She has been researching Midwestern bats for ten years.
